Red Collages

The color of the month for September was red.  The children had fun making a red collage with red felt, red heart doilies, red foam numbers/letters and red glitter.  They look beautiful on the bulletin board in our classroom!

   

We also read stories about colors, such as  

I asked the essential question, "How do artists use color?"

All About Me

The year is off to a great start!  The children have been learning the classroom routines.  Each child has been working on his/her All About Me book that will be sent home in a few weeks.  We hope you enjoy looking at it with your child.

The children used daubers to color in the first letter in their name.  

They had fun using the daubers to make  their own picture when they were done.
