Joyous January

The color of the month for January was blue.  The children made blue playdough to use during tabletop time.  One class made collages out of blue pasta, blue cotton balls, special blue paper and blue glitter.  Another class stirred blue food coloring into shaving cream and practiced drawing and/or writing in the cream.  They thoroughly enjoyed these activity!

On Monday, January 14th and Tuesday, January 15th, we had Triangle Days.  The children brought in something from home in the shape of a triangle and/or wore something with a triangle on it.  The Monday class made triangle collages and the Tuesday class made triangle people.  Both classes had Popcorners and used cookie cutters to make triangle-shaped cheese for snack.
