Apple Exploration

Last Thursday we finished our study of apples. During center time, the children had the opportunity to listen to a book on cd entitled, Under the Apple Tree by Steve Metzger.  As a culminating activity, the children used their five senses to finish the following sentence starters:
Apples look... Apples sound... Apples taste... Apples smell... Apples feel...

This was a great vocabulary building activity!  The children had a lot of fun, especially when it came time to taste an apple!
