Pajama Day was a big hit! The children had a special snack and listened to a story while sitting on comforters. Miss Robyn read,
The Napping House by Audrey Wood to the Thursday class and I read,
Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown to the Friday class.
The children played "Flashlight I Spy" for their circle time game. Each child was given a clue (e.g., "I Spy something you use to brush your teeth before you go to bed.") and used a flashlight to search for the item in the classroom.
The children made night time pictures for their Fun Tables activity. They glued paper stars and a moon (full or crescent) onto black construction paper and then they used white chalk to draw their own pictures.
