Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

We've been having a lot of fun celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday!

The children colored the Cat in the Hat and glued it onto a large piece of yellow construction paper.

After listening to Green Eggs and Ham, they made green eggs out of baker's clay.  Each child added an ingredient and practiced using a roller.

Our classroom door looks great! Each child described his/her footprint (e.g., happy foot, slow foot) after listening to The Foot Book.

On March 2nd, we had a special guest reader from Topsfield Fire and Rescue! The children were very excited to meet Tall Tom and listen to him read One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. He was accompanied by Jen, also from Topsfield Fire and Rescue. It was a very special day!
